Part A is at stage 1 for termite protection around the collars, and it's called a stack or a collar, and it is placed before the concrete house slab is poured. Part A second option, this is done as a termite chemical barrier before the garage slab, brick piers, stumps, or footing system, this is done if you don't have any plumbing pipes coming out of the house slab. Part B is the next stage and is a physical termite blanket that nails around the edge of the slab, an option in any case is to put a chemical barrier down where there is no paving, or a reticulation system can be used around the perimeter of the house at different stages during the build for part b.

The council or building surveyor has to qualify the property for an AS3660.1 termite certificate for an occupancy when you have finished the build.
