Termite Protection AS3660.1

We understand the unique challenges posed by Australian termites and provide targeted, effective solutions to detect, treat, and prevent infestations.

Service Overview

Termite AS3660.1 Certificate Compliance

The most practical and economical method of preventing future termite infestations in your house is to install a pre-construction system. You can avoid the need to chemically treat the house against termite infestation in the future by completing a chemical termite barrier or a physical termite barrier protection technique before the house is finished.

Using certified termite barrier technologies, pre-construction termite protection is implemented in accordance with AS 3660.1 during the early phases of construction, regardless of the type of foundation—concrete slab, subfloor, suspended slab, and others.

The purpose of Part A and Part B treatment (internal and outdoor) is to completely cover the building and block off any possible termite access sites.

We deliver a certificate of compliance in line with Australia Standard 3660.1 when the installation is finished.

Termite AS3660.1 Missed Part A & B

Termite protection for all steel frames, commercial factories, warehouses, and buildings is one of the pre-construction services offered. A certificate of compliance for part a and part b of AS3660.1 on termite protection is required for all new commercial factory and warehouse construction. The following items must be installed for termite protection: part A termite collars around the risers and part B for the neighbouring factories; a reticulation system around the perimeter of commercial properties; and, if the steel factory or warehouse has no adjacent properties, a chemical barrier, which you should confirm with your building surveyor, if applicable.

Part A & Part B Chemical Spray

Part A and Part B of the chemical spray installation are separate pieces. To prepare the site for the slab pour, Part A treatment is finished. When the paving is put in place, the Part B application is done all around. Then, a durable notice sticker is permanently fixed to the building in a conspicuous location, typically the electrical meter box, to inform prospective owners and inspectors of the installed termite management system(s).

Termite Part A and part B

You may be able to get a part A and part B approval for the job by pretreating the house, garage, or building with a chemical barrier or bait stations to keep active termites from entering. If the house is on a slab, steel frames, subfloor to stumps, or brick piers, this treatment is applied around the perimeter to prevent termites from entering any hidden spaces. Depending on the stage of construction, you have a few options to choose from.
